The collection consists of a newspaper article titled How Cotton Gin was Invented, by Annie Laurie Fuller Kurtz, October 6, 1935. The collection also consists of handwritten copies of pages from books and newspaper articles from the 1880s, and a ground-pit-and roof plan for an antebellum cotton press drawn by Wilbur G. Kurtz, April 22, 1918.
