Ten photographs of African Americans serving in the United States Army in World War II. The men's uniforms include insignia for Staff Sargeant, Technical Sargeant, and Sergeant. One of the photos includes the inscription "If you all want to see a soldier look at me - these pictures - mother - from your son, Alfred C. Williams, Btry A 15th Bn, Fort Eustis, Va."
