This collection contains one letter from C.C.B of Augusta to her sister Evie with news of relatives, unreliable mail service, refugees and advice to Mrs. Brown "to move all her provisions and valuables up to Gainesville" suggesting that "There is less danger of molestation from the enemy or our own soldiers in a town than in the country."
