C. Speeches, 1968-1971

Scope and content:

Materials found in speeches mainly consist of press releases of the speech itself. Issues found in Talmadge's speeches include civil rights, crime, defense, education, farming, foreign policy, social security, taxes, and Vietnam. More speeches are available to the researcher in the Press Office series. These files are arranged alphabetically by topic.
