Series III documents Campbell's service as Under Secretary of Agriculture (1969-1975) and includes calendars, correspondence, research materials, speeches, and travel records, most from trade visits to Japan in 1973. Common subjects include international trade of agricultural products, subsidies and other financial programs for farmers, development programs for rural America, programs to alleviate hunger, the dairy and poultry industries, environmental conservation, and plans to eradicate fire ants.
