This subseries is comprised of statistical reports created by the Georgia Department of Education, the Council for School Performance, and a survey of Dalton City Schools Iowa Test of Basic Skills (ITBS) reading scores. The files include correspondence related to Georgia students' test scores; ITBS and Georgia High School Graduation Test (GHSGT) rankings of Georgia schools including those in Dalton and Whitfield County; Georgia Public Education Report Card results for various Georgia counties; and drop out and graduation rates for Dalton schools.

Personnel files and personal financial files have been restricted. Though the collection is open for research, reference copies of the audiovisual recordings are only available upon request. Research requests will be filled as soon as possible and will be dependent upon the condition of the recordings.
Series VIII. Photographs contains digital files. To access these files, please request the folders you would like through the finding aid using your research account. An archivist will be in contact with you to explain how to access the files. Please note that not all file formats are currently supported by the library for research use.
